Analysing costume, setting, location and props in a music video

In this music video the main thing that is used to express emotion is the use of props. At the very start chocolate and crisps are being eating to show depression, also the setting is in the bedroom where she is isolated eating alone informing us she is lonely. There is also good use of costumes as when in the bedroom she's wearing a dress and green jumper which makes her seem quite sweet and nice then later on when she goes on to the street she is wearing a jacket and trainers which portrays a completely different side of her. Location is also linked to that. Make up also shows us the difference from before and later, she wears pink make up with a pink dress as if she is cute and feminine but the actions in the video show she's not. The setting is in a common place on the street, café and apartment and this helps us see the rough lifestyle.
