Over the course of the past few weeks I have learnt many new things in relation to editing skills. Firstly, I became familiar with how to edit a music video overall using basetracks and markers. I wasn't able to do this last year and would have had no clue where to start. Now i know that you have to lay all the basetracks on the timeline - muting the soung as I go along. This makes editing much easier as everything is already there and just needs to be cut/moved whatever the case may be. I am aware that you have to mark a significent lyric in the sound then mark the acting of that lyric in the imagery. You must then line up the markers in order to get the sound matching the visual. Another skill I learnt was how to overlay more than one shot using opacity levels. This is done by clicking the toggle button at the bottom then altering the line that goes through the clips on the timeline
