We got our teacher Dan to watch our updated rough cut. He gave us his honest opinion and some great advice on how to improve.
One comment that we really took on board was that there wasn't enough footage of the artist himself after the halfway mark. We watched our rough cut again and completely agreed with this criticism. With only a few days left until the deadline we had to think on our feet and decided that our best bet was to use the studio with a black back-drop and professional lighting. We could film our artist singing there and slot some footage in towards the end of the song where his absence is too noticeable for a new artists' video.
Also, we will re-evaluate having black and white shots
