Influences - previous students work

I also looked at previous students work and found a cover which I felt was similar to my idea. I looked at the cover and it gave me an indication of what my cover might look like.

The image used on this cover is similar to the picture I want to put on my cover. However the only difference will be that the whole image will be on the front cover and the background image will be different. I feel the text is clearly positioned and is easy to understand but its not the kind of font I will be using because I feel my genre is more sophisticated and the mood is sad. I also feel the colours is effective but I don't feel as if it will work on my cover which is why I wont be doing something similar to this and will be doing black and white instead to suit the mood. However the image did really stand out for me and I feel I will be able to have a similar picture on my cover.
